the sadrobe of blueness

happy new year!!!!!!!!
*boom chcka boom chka boom*
(there's music playing in my head like i've been possessed by the ghost of marilyn monroe)
(won't SHE be disappointed. hehehe)

how are you people?
i have no idea if i will actually write more than i did last year but that's what i intend do to. not a resolution.
did i say resolution? no. just a ....foggy goalish idea really.

i'm here not to talk about happiness and positivity, as is all the rage at the start of a new year; but to talk bout being sad.
i know there are alot of sad people out there right now.
and i mean everyone; from the dude who's just a little blue when he stops long enough to think about it, to the family that is misssing a loved one at the holidays, to...every little nuance of sadness that's out there.
and they keep on keepin on (me included folks)
you do what you need to do, keep a smile on your face...but you're still blue. what to do?

so- i decided -- just now which is what inspired this post -
you know what i think you should do?
instead of worrying about not being sad and how you shouldn't be sad?

embrace it. love your sadness up.

make a sadness robe that had sadness colors or maybe patterns or images put on fabric that either represent some of the events that were particularly sad moments and when you wear it you can like...make hot cocoa and watch a movie and hug yourself a lot (and your robe and all those moments)

and maybe you'll put on sad music and dance around and sing in your sadrobe of blueness and when you feel a little better you can put her away again with a hug and smile.

AND maybe you'll add stuff to her over the years - sort of a work of love in progress and a bit of reverse psychology on your sadness

what do you think?

if i knew how to sew i would make one - and spike my hot chocolate

hey hey 2011~~let's rock n roll beyotch
